I must admit I am going to do this.
Pass this on to your church, co-workers, family, and friends. What do you have to lose but 44 cents, what do you have to gain ----------- more than you will ever know.
What a clever idea!
Yes, Christmas cards. This is coming early so that you can get ready to include an important address to your list.
Want to have some fun this CHRISTMAS? Send the ACLU a CHRISTMAS CARD this year.
As they are working so very hard to get rid of the CHRISTMAS part of this holiday, we should all send them a nice,
CHRISTIAN card to brighten up their dark, sad, little world..
Make sure it says "Merry Christmas" on it.
Here's the address, just don't be rude or crude. (It's not the Christian way, you know.)
ACLU
125 Broad Street
18th Floor
New York, NY 10004
Two tons of Christmas cards would freeze their operations because they wouldn't know if any were regular mail containing contributions. So spend 44 cents and tell the ACLU to leave Christmas alone. Also tell them that there is no such thing as a " Holiday Tree". . . It's always been called a CHRISTMAS TREE!
And pass this on to your email lists. We really want to communicate with the ACLU! They really DESERVE us!!
For those of you who aren't aware of them, the ACLU, (the American Civil Liberties Union) is the one suing the U.S. Government to take God, Christmas or anything Christian away from us. They represent the atheists and others in this war. Help put Christ back in Christmas!

"Thankful Thanksgiving"
Today this is how I feel.
How can there only be one day? I want need a spirit of gratitude every day.
It's the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Yesterday my Momma, Nannie and Cousin Judy came to the house for a "Pre-Thanksgiving Planning" breakfast. Basically a final going over of the menu and a relax session. We laughed about old times, stuff we have or someone else has fixed over the years. Family that has gone on. We needed that sesson for the troop we will be feeding Thursday. We will have 22+ . We do almost all the cooking. We have my Dad's side of the family All of them. They don't understand why we have to cook so much food. Of course it doesn't stop them from eating it all, lol.
I'm thankful that this year, for the first time in 5yrs we won't be doing inventory til 9 Wednesday night and starting at 7am on Friday morning, Yay!!
Even though my FIL and his wife drive me nuts, I am glad they will be with us again this Thanksgiving and get to spend a couple days with DH. He misses his Dad alot, and they rarely get time together.
I'm Thankful for great friends who are always there when you need them.
This year I am thankful for having all my family another year and everyone being healthy.
What are you Thankful for this Thanksgiving?

No Happy Holidays Here!!
*Twas the month before Christmas*
*When all through our land,*
*Not a Christian was praying*
*Nor taking a stand.*
*See the PC Police had taken away,*
*The reason for Christmas - no one could say.*
*The children were told by their schools not to sing,*
*About Shepherds and Wise Men and Angels and things.*
*It might hurt people's feelings, the teachers would say*
* December 25th is just a ' Holiday '.*
*Yet the shoppers were ready with cash, checks and credit*
*Pushing folks down to the floor just to get it!*
*CDs from Madonna, an X BOX, an I-pod*
*Something was changing, something quite odd! *
*Retailers promoted Ramadan and Kwanzaa*
*In hopes to sell books by Franken & Fonda.*
*As Targets were hanging their trees upside down*
* At Lowe's the word Christmas - was no where to be found.*
*At K-Mart and Staples and Penney's and Sears*
*You won't hear the word Christmas; it won't touch your ears.*
*Inclusive, sensitive, Di-ver-si-ty*
*Are words that were used to intimidate me.*
*Now Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen*
*On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton !*
*At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter*
*To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter.*
*And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith*
* Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace*
*The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded*
*The reason for the season, stopped before it started.*
*So as you celebrate 'Winter Break' under your 'Dream Tree'*
*Sipping your Starbucks, listen to me.*
*Choose your words carefully, choose what you say*
*Shout MERRY CHRISTMAS ,
not Happy Holiday !*
Please, all Christians join together and
wish everyone you meet
MERRY CHRISTMAS

Beware of that Underwear Dust!!
One evening a husband, thinking he was being funny, said to his wife, 'Perhaps we should start washing your clothes in 'Slim Fast'. Maybe it would take a few inches off of your butt!'
His wife was not amused, and decided that she simply couldn't let such a comment go unrewarded.
The next morning the husband took a pair of underwear out of his drawer. 'What the heck is this?' he said to himself as a little 'dust' cloud appeared when he shook them out.
'April', he hollered into the bathroom, 'Why did you put talcum powder in my underwear?'
She replied with a snicker. 'It's not talcum powder; it's 'Miracle Grow'!!!!! !

Do You Think I Have A Problem?
Seriously I have to ask.
The other day I realized while DH was asking me "who" I was talking about like he should know that I was talking bout one of you all. I know. I know. Some parts of me feels like it's sad and that I have no life.
Other parts of me feel happy for YOU that I like your blogs so much!!
For example the other evening on the way home from work I was sharing with Dave about Becky from "In The Trenches" story about how she and Mike met and their story. I loved that story, what can I say?
Dave also enjoys to talk extensively about politics where as I like to be informed but am not obsessed as he is but I really enjoy sharing with him about stuff that Tammy at "Time Flies" blogs about. DH also knows who Luvpilot is and his "new love" that I not so secretly love as well. He is my back up for pleading my case with DH.
We pray daily for Georgie and her family as they go through so much with Dad.
After working all day at the same place with there being an hour there and an hour home I don't want to discuss work or the problems there. That is our rule. The first 15mins we can talk about work and get it off our chest, after that it's officially off the table. Since we are gone from 6:30am to 6:30pm or later my day is generally shot by the time we get home, do supper, dishes, etc. That leaves my daily contact you all and my immediate family. Now you've become my second family!!
Is it wrong to say I love you guys??
Oh well, as the saying goes, Que Sera Sera.
I should mention DH has some concerns regarding my visiting Farm Chick he feels pretty confident that she is connected to the increase of his waistline with all the new recipes I've been trying.\
You tell me what you think.

Just Another Day In The Life
This weekend was great!
Sunday was even better Church then lunch/dinner with the Family.
DH and one of the boys from Church went hunting. Yes, DH is still in full hunting mode even after getting a deer a few weeks ago.
Work went by pretty fast for a Monday.
Being the professionals we are, when Mr President came back from lunch and having his SUV cleaned he brought in an "air freshner". It was suppose to have that "new car" smell. It was hideous. So we strategically placed it in the Sales & Marketing Manager's (who by the way rarely does his own stuff and pushes it off on me) office while he was out "sick" on this pretty day. Ya know, sometimes it's just the little things in life.
DH talked to the "Outlaws" tonight and it's official that they are coming for Thanksgiving. Yea Haw!

Christmas Shopping
I had an awesome day out with my second Mom Donna. We into the city to do some shopping.
We hit the big sale they were having at Kohl's . I spent enough "Christmas" wise to get $10 Kohl bucks for my next visit. I also bought me these awesome "hooker boots" as I like to call them for my birthday.

Then we went to Bath & Body Works another one of my favorite stores. There I even got FREE merchandise, which I picked to be their new flavor of Twilight Wood lotion and $10 off my next purchase.
Now I am in FULL Christmas mode. I am so ready to get a tree up. DH says it's too early. He's also still telling me no about a real tree as well. He says I have a hard enough time remembering to water my flowers outside, and the dog. Fuddy Dud. Well it's coming soon. This sista is BRINGING IT ON!!!
If I can't have that, I am going to be ready blog wise.
Also I put my "followers" back up. I'm so over the whole "I'm not following you anymore" thing. Follow me, don't follow me. But seriously, it's an uneven number, can at least one person add theirself? You know I hate odd numbers, lol.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!

The Bravest Man I Know
The Bravest Man I Know
by Amanda Whitney
The bravest man I know.
Is a man I've never met.
He's a man who risks his life
To save a friend,
Not only to save a friend,
But to save a nation.
Risking his life
For those he does not know.
Stepping up
Leaving loved ones behind,
So that somewhere,
Someone else won't have to.
He is a man who follows orders
Even though he knows he might die.
The bravest man I know.
Is the man who would rather die,
So one more person could go home
To see his family again.
The man who stares death in the face,
But never blinks.
The bravest man I know.
Is the man who risks his life
So one day the world may be a better place for his children.
Or any man who goes against his biggest fear.
DEATH
Just to save someone he loves.
The bravest man I know.
Is the man who fights
So another man can have the taste of sweet freedom.
Not fighting only for his own benefit,
But for many others all over the world,
Fighting to make this world a better place.
That's the bravest man I know.

Sunday Morning Thoughts
Praise and Worship was thoughts running through my head when I woke up.
This chorus has been running through my head all morning:
I couldn't find any versions online that I liked well enough to post.
I feel much better now that I vented about the whole follower thing Friday.
It is just like that song, "People Are Crazy", Seriously. Today I am Thankful because I have had a stalker in the my life and well, they're not so fun.
I know you are probably wondering what is up with the Christmas music already. I LOVE FALL!! So what does that have to do with Christmas music? I don't really consider fall being over or taking down my fall stuff until the day after Thanksgiving but this year I am SO ready for Christmas. It always seems we fly through it in such a rush because our family being spread out so far. I never really get the chance to enjoy all the festive parts of it. So this year I am starting earlier. While I am not ready to dress the blog up for Christmas, I am easing into it with the Christmas music.
So what is your Thanksgiving/Christmas Traditions??
I'm thinking maybe the upcoming weeks until Thanksgiving until Christmas maybe posting some of my favorite dishes for the Thanksgiving and Christmas Season?
This weekend has been busy. It's one of the warmest days we've had lately with a high of 72.
DH finished cleaning out my flower beds and have them looking so good and blah. That is one of the bad things about winter. Everything so "Blah".
I fixed a pot of beans, fried taters, kraut & wieners, a pone of cornbread and a fresh apple crisp for supper.
We had Nannie over. This is one of her favorite meals. She says it reminds her of when she was at home years ago. We had a good visit.
What did everyone else do this weekend??
This chorus has been running through my head all morning:
Oh, sometimes I just want to praise You
Sometimes just to speak Your name
Sometimes I just want to thank You
Without asking you for a thing
Oh sometimes I lift my hands to You
Then sometimes all I do is cry
Everything that I have I owe to You, Lord
And Calvary's the reason why

I'm Taking A Stand
I will forewarn you this blog might be long.
If you are not in the mood, stop now and read someone else.
I've got a lot on my chest and I need to get it off.
I appologize for any of you who have sent me emails this week. I have found myself unusually tired this last week and have even cheated this week with blogging. Done mostly over the weekend and set up to post at certain times. This also means I didn't read any of my emails until today. Was I oh so surprised at two of them I received. They were from two of the 3 people who decided to quit following my blog this week.
I wasn't was going to blog about this. It frustrated me so that I actually talked to DH about it, and HE insisted I post it. I don't know how many times I've come across peoples post that are whining complaining because people "don't comment" on their blogs, when they have 46 comments, don't even get me started on that or people just randomly quit following them and they are losing their masses. I know it must be horrible when you are losing 1 or 2 people and already have 657 followers.
What I don't understand is what gives someone who, by their own choice, chose to follow you also gives them the right to be nasty about why they quit following you. Don't get me wrong, I totally get I am not the funniest or most entertaining person at times, but this blog is for my personal relief, not everyone else. PLEASE do not get me wrong, I love the people who follow and comment on my blog, (Thank You) but it doesn't give you the right to put me on the chopping block.
Email #1 was in regards to some re-arranging I did to my blog. Most people wouldn't even notice that in the right hand corner I have listed "The Girls I Can't Live Without", but this particular person did. Please know that EVERY blog I follow I do read, and try to post a comment EVERY time I go to their page. I just find that common curtesy. These particular 6 on my "Can't Live Without" list are ones that I have some kind of communication with weekly. I read them everyday, no matter how crappy I feel. I feel like I have more in common with their views, personalities, or sense of humor. It doesn't make anyone else's blog that much less special. They were polite by damning me to hell letting me know they weren't following me anymore. I was disappointed, but I understand and accept she doesn't want to "follow me" now.
Email #2 REALLY upset me. I am already shaking just getting furious about it all over again.
This person was upset by my personal beliefs in God. They were upset because I have been blogging too much Wordless Wednesday was too much for them and thought I was out of line with the picture about religion lately. They did not appreciate me trying to push my cult like "religious" views on them. I have too much on my blog with the pictures, quotes, and music.
I enjoy the blogs I follow. Maybe I don't always agree with everything they say, see eye to eye on it or believe the same ways. There are people that I follow that have totally different religious views than me and I love their blogs just as much. I don't feel the need to go out and tell them I don't agree because that is not what it's about.
I still have this precious thing my parents instilled in me while raising me to have for people, it's called RESPECT yes, I know it has become a foreign trait, but I still have it and give it!
Seriously, this was the very last thing I needed this week on top of everything else.
So here it is,
I'm Taking A Stand On My Views, On MY Blog.
I believe in God and in His Holy Word is the Bible. There is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4). He is the creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), in the son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit)."All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (II Timothy 3:16).
I believe in Baptism in Jesus Name. Water baptism is an essential part of New Testament salvation and not merely a symbolic ritual. It is part of entering into the kingdom of God (God's church, the bride of Christ), and therefore, it is not merely a part of local church membership. (See John 3:5; Galatians 3:27)(Romans 6:4; see Colossians 2:12), (Mark 1:10),(Acts 8:38-39).
Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection are applied to our lives when we experience New Testament salvation: "Repent [death to sin], and be baptized [burial] every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost [resurrection]." (See Acts 2:38; Romans 6:1-7; 8:2).
I also believe in Holiness, Divine Healing, The Second Coming of Christ,Resurrecton & Judgement.
If you don't agree with me, I am fine with that. I won't condemn you, or critize or send you a nasty email.
I won't quit following your blog. Unless you send me a nasty email, lol.
There was no email from #3, I guess I just bored them to death :) That's ok too.
So for now, I have no "Follow Me" list. If you choose to, that's great! If not, that's great too! You still have that right with me, and it won't hurt my feelings.
I'm not perfect and don't claim to be. I make mistakes. I fall down. But I do get back up and dust myself off and say "Thank You Lord for keeping me in spite of my messes".
Disclaimer: If you don't like it, quit following it, but I won't back down from what I believe, ever.

UCLA STUDY
A study worth sharing with friends both male and female:
A study conducted by UCLA's Department of Psychiatry has revealed that
The kind of face a woman finds attractive on a man can differ depending
On where she is in her menstrual cycle.
For example: If she is ovulating, she is attracted to men with rugged
And masculine features. However, if she is menstruating, or menopausal,
She tends to be more attracted to a man with duct tape over his mouth
And a spear lodged in his chest while he is on fire.
No further studies are expected.
Have A Great Weekend!!

Two for Tuesday
It's "Two For Tuesday"
My brain is still a little fried. I am on overload at the moment.
So for Tuesday, I want to share two other bloggers blogs that I enjoy.
Please check them out, and give them a shout letting them know who sent ya!
1. Marilyn, from over at "The Parks Farm" has started a new blog.
She is still cracking me up a sentence at a time. If you haven't heard about "mrsnevergetting marriedagain" please check her out.
2. Missy over at Is It Just Me? has a couple other blogs. I personally like the Dear God. She ask honest questions that we all have to wonder at sometime or another.
Have a great Tuesday!

What the Heck Am I Doing with My Life???
Ever have one of those mornings you wake up wondering what in the heck you are doing with your life?
Then you roll on over and you're like oh my, what is it I'm doing??
Is it what I'm suppose to be doing?
Am I where I am suppose to be?
Is this what I "dreamed" of doing?
What happened to ME?!?!
This morning I woke up asking myself those questions, and then I rolled over, pried myself from under the covers, got ready for work, and rode for an hour there.
Today was one of "those days".
It was a Monday.
If I could get behind, I was.
Nothing went right.
There was a full moon.
The people proved there was.
Then on the ride home I received confirmation from the Man in the Moon.
All evening I have wondered how I got here. This is not what I "dreamed" of.
This is not the life I had planned.
Or the people who are in it for that matter.
As a kid you have these big ideas and dreams that you will marry the boy you grew up with and had your first crush on. You're going to live next door to your best friend for the rest of your life. You'll have tea every day, cookouts together, and raise your children so that they will be "best friends" too.
Here I am many years later, my best friend doesn't live next door (across town, and states/cities away).
No sounds of pitter patter of the feet at my house. I'm not married to the boy I swore in grade school would be my husband. I never became a beautician, a pharmacist, a childrens physical therapist or the 1st NASCAR woman driver (come on now I was young didn't you want to be something extreme?).
However, I moved to a big city with a brand new husband and lived in the burbs and we survived.
I was blessed with the opportunity to be a pharmaceutical rep which had become my dream job as an adult. I married a man who was picked for me by God, not by me, just especially for me.
I know without a doubt he will be at home with me every night, and right there when I fall asleep.
We are not wealthy but we are some of the riches people around. We are truly blessed by not only a "best friend" but several "best friends".
Even though I may wake up again tomorrow asking the same questions, and question my sanity when I arrive at work. I know I am there for a purpose.
But for now, could you please pray for me to come into a large sum of $$ where I don't have to work????
Just my thoughts for today.

For Amanda's Birthday I fixed up a little surprise for her last night.
She and Hubby came over to this

Today DH and I are on our way to Church.
Afterwards we are going to look for my "birthday shoes" I haven't had a chance to pick out from my Momma & Daddy.
