Whew, I knew I was, but I didn't realize how bad.
So, as bright ideas come, I thought, "hey, since I am going to this wedding in Mobile AL, maybe I should do a little pre-tanning, so I don't burn up"
So wise me went to Sun Tan City. Of course the place is full of teeny boppers, who look like they have been in the tanning bed for most of their lives. I'm thinking, "Wow, this doesn't sell me at all, it actually scares me..." most of them were not what I would call a "pretty" tan, it was more like YIKES!! This REALLY should have been my first in cling. Never the less, (did I also mention they are wayyyyyyyy too cheery for their own good?) She takes me on this "tour" of all the different beds/stand ups/spray spa they have I think 23 thingies there. I was in awe of course. So she's like, do you want the Fast, Faster, Fastest, Versa Spa, or Instant. I let the little girl talk me into a tan package. Which was a good deal.
So here I am, my first session. I climb in the bed for the first time in probably almost 8yrs, (last time I remember was before I got married) I didn't realize how many different beds/stand ups they have. Who knew?? Anyways, 6 minutes is what they recommended since they just got new bulbs that day, and I am fair complected. They said if I got "hot" to stop so I wouldn't burn. Awww.......it felt, wonderful!! Like actually being on the beach, minus the sand in your swimwear. No burning, just relaxed, and feeling good about my choice. I shouldn't have over reacted to the girls with the scary tans.
So the next day I am ALL about it. This time, the girls looked more normal, and had a "pretty tan" (this is where they seen me coming) I started talking to them about why I was tanning, blah, blah, blah. "Oh well, you need this accelerator....you will be amazed of how it works so fast....blah, blah, blah" she said. I'm thinking, this girl knows what she's talking about because she has a "pretty tan".
Ok, so I buy the highly over priced accelerator. I rubba dub up, jump in for 8 minutes, and off to the beach I go.
Ummm....you know what's next right?? Yep, what came out of that room was a lobster!! Oh my, it wasn't so bad at first. But this morning. EEeekkkksss!!!! Who is that red thing in the mirror. AAAackkkkkkkkk, it's meeeeeeeeee!!!!!!! At least it didn't burn my face up, nor did I have the "raccoon" look going on, but underneath, iya, yia.
I would take a pic and show ya, but I would be banned, and of course I can't move that way right now, lol.
Hope you are having a great weekend!!
Toodles!

Blah, Blah, Blah....What did you say????
I guess my life has become a bore. Every time I start to blog, I try and piece things together in my head, and by the time I'm done, I hear.........."blah, blah, blah..........what did you say??.......blah, blah, blah, I am sooooooo boring.
I don't know what is with me. It seems I use to have so much to say and now so little.
I was off two days this week. My cholesterol is still out of sight, my blood pressure for the first time ever has started to elevate a little Doc says I'm stressed out and don't even realize it. Is that possible??
I guess with Nan feeling horrible, and not being able to keep her BP up.
My irresponsible brother keeping company that he shouldn't keep.
DH getting a new position and responsibilities at work.
Them laying people off at work, (not knowing if you are next)
The are we going to get a baby, or are they going to "back out" thing is taxing.
It was like having an epiphany right in the Dr's office when she pointed all the above out to me. (She happens to be a friend of the family)
Oh did I mention I am sleeping less than 3hrs at night? 1 solid hour if I am lucky, and then 30 minutes hit and miss afterwards.
Please don't mistake me for a whiner. I don't like whiny people. It just happened to hit me like a bomb this week why I don't have time for anything, especially blogging. I need to get back. It is therapeutic. I love knowing what every one is doing, only now I have to read two weeks worth plus to catch up! haha.
At least it's relaxation reading!!
So tell me what all is going on in your worlds??
Ok, on the brighter side, my 3yr old nephew is playing t-ball this spring. Here is a picture of him looking all adorable in his uniform at a game.
Enjoy!!

Good Beautiful Morning!!!
It is an absolutely beautiful morning out!!
It has been non stop crazy here this weekend since I am hosting Easter Lunch.
Mr. Caramel Drizzle is lapping it up before Church and the chaos begins! : )
It has been a great weekend. DH is in Indiana with his Dad, since they do Easter and Poppy's birthday at the same time. That means I have been home alone since 12 noon Friday. I actually cleaned house until 4am Saturday morning, yikes! Why is it so hard with a man in the house??? How is it possible he can dirty 6 loads of clothes on his own?? Oh well, I am dressing my table this morning to look all pretty.
I also finished another project yesterday, I will blog about later, and give ya a picture.
Hope everyone has a great Easter!!

Ashamed
I am ashamed.
I admit it.
I have been a super slacker when it comes to blogging the past week or so.
There has been nothing there.
I am an empty vessel.
Sometimes I think it's stress central, lol.
Nan has been in the hospital, stress.
What is with these days?? It seems everyone is on edge, and stressed. : )
So, for today, I leave with a "Wordless Wednesday" a beautiful, and peaceful picture.
Toodles!

WELCOME JOHN CALIPARI
It took less than three days for Kentucky to find a new coach. Kentucky's new coach is John Calipari from the Memphis Tigers. Who can blame him for wanting to come?? He will make 3.65 million a year!!! The highest paid college coach in the U.S. He has been all over the t.v. if you have had it on at all. He gave an awesome interview yesterday. I was unsure of the hire until I heard the interview. I think they made a good choice, he seems to have what KY needs, and he's not just focused on basketball, but making sure these boys graduate. I will blog more about the interview later. For now, you can check out our new "Italian Stallion" as he is already being called.
