"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind." ~~Wisdom from Dr. Seuss:

1.04.2009

Today has been a dreary day. It has sprinkled or rained most of the day. We left Church early today, so that I could attend the funeral of a dear friend of mines Mom. Linda was a great lady. Always the "life of the party" as Sam told me today. I thought I couldn't agree more. Always had a smile, a laugh, and a hug for you. I watched my friend grieve today, and it made me thankful for a loving, caring, always there God. Who gives us comfort when no one else can.

I often wonder how people survive all life's sorrows, and troubles without knowing God. I am so blessed to know God for myself. Just knowing what He has done in my own life is overwhelming in it's self.

This last year has seemed like I have been stuck in a valley, but God is still good. I am looking forward to what is going to happen this year. I hope God blesses you and yours this year.

I have watched friends go through "stuff" who don't have the comfort of a savior in their lives and I just ache for them. Can you imagine?

Another interesting thing... my aunt, who has been a nurse for eons, said that patients who are professing Christians are almost always very peaceful as they pass away, and those who aren't tend to be more aggitated and "tortured"... hmmm.....
