I am really. I mean here I am where I have access now to internet every day, and I never blog.
I didn't realize this old house was going to take so much of my time!!!
Not to mention I HATE WALLPAPER and the inventor of it.
I am trying my best to get it down, but it is wearing on my patiences. I'll be honest.
If anyone has any suggestions on quick ways of getting it down, (no I'm not willing to burn the house down, yet)
Please let me know!!!!
I did get to have a nice visit with Kat this weekend. Showed her a lil bit of Lexington, nothing like we had planned. We did go to Gigi's for cupcakes, yum. I did buy a few cool things for the house, and 5 new books to read at Half Priced Books. I know, when will I read them, right??
Ok, back to the hideous house of wallpaper!!!

Ugh... I have wallpaper in the bathroom and I was just going to paint over it.
Can't we do that?
Post pictures!!!
I helped my sister remove wall paper from her super old house...I think we used a white vinegar and water mixture to soak the walls, we scored the paper first with some sort of tool from the home depot...it only KIND of worked...I think we painted over the rest, lol. Since it was such an old house (late 1800's I think), there were about 6 layers of the crap...which is why we gave up!!
Don't worry about the blogging, I'm terrible too!
Good luck!!
I had a good time with you too Maria! We may not have been able to do what we originally planned but it worked out just fine. Now, if we can only figure out how to get that darn wall paper off EVERY WALL IN THE HOUSE! Guess we'll have to do some research on that one. That wall paper has been on those walls for a really long time. I believe it's fighting back.
Luvs you cuz!
I used white vinegar and water. Covered the wall paper and it just peeled right off.
